dose anyone know whan you sstart putting on weight during pregnancy? i think i might be a month or just under a month pregnant,and i have put on a bit of weight dose this seem right or do you not usually gain pregnancy weight this early????

The horomone changes cause an increase in blood volume as well as water weight. This is most likely the cause of your feeling as though you have gained weight. It will most likely calm down in a few weeks and you will feel more like yourself.

Do not worry the weight will come! Trust me! I went the first part of each pregnancy gaining several pounds here and there and no one really could tell if I was pregnant or not. But at 7mos. Holly Crap! I look like I was carrying an entire future basketball team. Well, not that bad but it sure felt like it

I started gaining right away with both kids. I've met women that didn't gain anything for several months. We're all different.

in the first month or so you do gain weight, but not real weight, mostly just from being bloated.

i asked a question like that last night, i'm on my 2nd pregnancy and i feel like i'm already showing. but i think its just because i'm bloated. but i got a lot of interesting answers if you want to check them out.

It's most probably caused by bloatedness (water retention).
