Can we PLEASE get a handle on what we truely stand for?
By that I mean, understand that you are worth more than the gold in your mouth, money in your pocket, and phone #s in your memory. We are strong, creative, and engineered to strategically level the playing field (business-wise) all over the world. If we can't get beyond our fantasies of holding poorly used titles (Pimp, Player, Baller) then we are drastically limiting ourselves.
Let's stop blaming Caucasians. Their ancestors may have enslaved ours, but that was in the past. We have come a long way from that. Take the benefits (MLK, voting rights, educations, spiritual strength) and continue to press forward. You will never get anywhere with a vengeful mind. If you honestly think the world is to blame you have no purpose in life. If you are against others, then you have no love.
Use your brains for more than sex and money. Our younglings need role-models with good morals. If you can't do so, relocate to a cave.

Thats a good speech for those young men who glorify that type of lifestyle.
Now...blaming the white man, is not always just "whining".
As $0.02 put it, it is the system and as long as the system is shady we will be given the short end of the stick. Now with that said, we have to decide what we will do with the cards we are dealt. Will we sit on our butts and continue to talk about the system or will we actually do something to bring ourselves up and overcome it.
Instead of focusing all our attention on blaming the white man for slavery, how about we focus our attention on the injustice of today and do something about it.

some white people do it thinking they're being culturally conscious or something. If that became into the case then that's perceived as offensive. ask him what he thinks approximately it. I mean I even have rather close pals of diverse races. I call a number of them my brothers and sisters.

Amen!
I assume you're not referring to all Black men.
I think my biggest annoyance is that we can run out and buy new rims, cars, the latest shoes, but how many of us have health insurance, a 401K, and a college fund for our kids? If we could get our priorities straightened out and put our jealousy in the dumpster we might be okay.

Why do you believe that majority of blacks are doing this, we're not?
Let's stop blaming Caucasians
Who's going to tell them to stop blaming the entire black population for what happen to them.
Stick around and you can answer all of dumb, hateful questions about blacks.
When are blacks and whites going to let a black man be an individual? Stop painting all of us with the same brush, you don't know every black man's story!

I agree, but not all blacks blame whites for their problems, and unfortunately, there is still racism and discrimination in today's society, but it's nothing that blacks haven't overcome before, so it's nothing that blacks cant overcome now especially when we have way more options and rights than our ancestors did. Thanks for your comment. lol

who do you think you are talking to "brotha."
The system IS to blame. But its not just white folks anymore. "brothas" like yourself are doing just as much to perpetuate the system as the white man. The playing field is not level and by saying that it is you are doing "brothas" a grave injustice.
We haven't come that far since MLK. If you ask me we have gone backwards, but thats just my opinion.
I agree we do need a paradigm shift, but until we fully understand what was truly done to us in the past (which we have not) we can not move forward.
