Yes. It happened to one of my friends. The week before your period is when you ovulate, and is the best time to get pregnant, if you choose the right day.

Some people have what is called "implantation bleeding" which is what happens when the fertilized egg implants itself into the lining of the uterus. If this was your normal time to start your period, then it is unlikely as you probably ovulated 10-14 days prior to that.
Take a test in a week or two.
Good luck! : )

It's highly unlikely, though not impossible. You ovulate somewhere in the middle of your cycle, and after that you are not fertile. If you are having a normal period, then you have nothing be worried about.
Next time use a condom. You could contract any number of STDs unless you know for a fact that your partner is clean.

it is actually about a week to ten days after your period is over that you ovulate... not right before you start your period.
There is a very slight chance, but I seriously doubt you are pregnant.
For instance... doctors consider someone pregnant from the first day of their last period... mine was November 17th... but technically my conception date is estimated at December 1st because that was when I was ovulating
And so whomever gave me a thumbs down... I don't answer questions based on opinion. I answer questions according to facts and information from doctors

Yes you could be. Some women have periods when they are pregnant. This period you had was already on its way when you had sex so I think kind of unlikely you got pregnant but not impossible at all.

Yes, egg doesn't implant until 7-10 days after fertilization.
