Why are they afraid of her?
The same reason Goliath was afraid of David.

If you've ever read my answers, I only give nasty, insulting answers to nasty, insulting questions. Otherwise, I try to answer intelligibly. By calling Republicans "lowlifes" your question borders on insulting, but I'll one-up you and give you a dignified response anyway...

I can't think of anything that makes Hillary appealing. I am not afraid of her, and Repubs won't have to impugn her character--her past speaks for itself. I think she is a dishonest, power-hungry, politically driven, hidden-agenda filled, elitist snob.

I don't agree with Barrack Obama's politics, but at least the guy is likeable, seems honest, and sticks to his convictions.

It sure is and has been a haven and forum for all the I-HATE-GEORGE-BUSH
lowlife left wing extremist pinheads. I would much prefer a civilized debate on real issues, but I find insults to myself, the president, and conservatives on almost every page of this section of the website, many of them egregious.
And I do not fear Hillary. She is a Socialist and a secular progressive, and I disagree with almost all her expressed political positions. I do not care for her much as a person, having read a great deal about her. I am a conservative leaning towards libertarianism. That is my opinion and I don't think it rises to the level of what you are accusing 'Republicans' of.

I am not a Republican and I don't like Hillary Clinton. No one has to impune her character she is more than capable of doing that herself. This woman cannot be trusted. She will say anything to be elected and has yet to espouse any consistent position on the issues. Instead she changes her story constantly based solely on the leanings of the audience she is speaking with at the time.

Two good examples are below.

Where does she really stand on the war? She has changed her story so many times she makes Kerry's "I voted for it before I voted against it" statement look decisive by comparison.

Where does she really stand on Ethanol? In Iowa the corn belt, she told people she was for ethanol and yet she has voted against ethanol subsidies every time they have come up in the Senate.

You can vote for whomever you like, but spare us the Hillary is a good candidate crap. Hillary is another untrustworthy politician and will remain so in many people's view as long as she continues to act as such.

Paul,

I'm afraid of no one, and I'm certainly not afraid of someone named 'Hillary.'

So far as "insults, lies and malicious (spelled correctly here) maligning of character (funny, I don't believe she has any to malign), Dems have always taken the low road...what happened to certain 'authentic' military documents concerning a young pilot named George W. Bush...Dems and the liberal media made all kinds of ruckus and vicious 'character attacks,' then lo and behold...

they were not authentic...it was a Dem ruse!

It didn't come out all bad, though...a certain big-time lib sympathizer news anchorman was run out of his seat because of that, and I for one loved seeing it.

One of two things will inevitably happen...she will self-destruct (ala Howard Dean...YYYYEEEEAAAHHH!!! Very presidential, indeed), or she will fall step with her husband and show her weak character (not that she has a particularly strong one to begin with).

Haven't you read your Orwell? 1984? Big Brother? Ministry of Peace (Newspeak: Minipax) Conducts Oceania's perpetual war. Ministry of Plenty (Newspeak: Miniplenty) Responsible for rationing and controlling food and goods, along with all production of all domestic goods. The Ministry of Plenty declares false claims to have increased the standard of living every time by a considerable amount, when in fact the ministry counteracts its own claims. Ministry of Truth (Newspeak: Minitrue) The propaganda arm of Oceania's regime, controlling information: news, entertainment, education, and the fine arts. Winston Smith works for the Records Department (RecDep) of Minitrue, "rectifying" historical records and newspaper articles to make them conform to Big Brother's most recent pronouncements, thus making everything that the Party says 'true'.

Answers is more a forum for liberals to vent their irrational hatred of President Bush. I am not a Republican but Hillary Clinton is a socialist pretending she is a populist and the threat of her as President is something everyone should be afraid of.

I'm not afraid of Hillary, are you kidding?

If Hillary gets the Democratic nom., it would be the easiest Republican victory since 1984.
