OH yes hardware stores. They are better than a rolled up news paper as they let the air pass trough them. Flies have bad eyesightes and there for rely on air pressure amd movement to scare them away.

I own THREE of them....
strategically placed throughout the house
I hates them mosquitos and the occasional errant wasp that makes it way in the door
So I'm always prepared.
