Want to surprise my girlfriend by learning to 2 Step. Would like a place [likely a bar] that has 2 step lessons before they open the place..

I'm not sure who might offer lessons before they open, you might call around. But, the 2 step is easy and fun to learn, you might just try it on the spot. I think that the Broken Spoke has lessons there, but they are offered through a private dance lesson company. Also, the Broken Spoke is the most authentic bar of its type that still exists in Austin.
