in the hindu way there are four. One brahmacharya - bachelorhood, grahasthasana- active married life, vanprastha -life in a family with some distancing duties mostly done and sanyasa -giving all up and retiring to a hermitage. I would go for one of the first two as the best.

According to various theories and own experiences four stages
are there in human life viz childhood, youngage, manhood and old
age position. A best and freeposition is of childhood. on the other
all stages leave the person and next one comes but old age is
the true stage which tooks a man away with departing from life
and gives freedom to the soul.

If I really wanted to be cute, I'd say, "Every moment is a life-stage in itself," and listen for the birdies chirping outside my window. One problem with stage theories of life is that they can often imply a greater discontinuity than people experience. Stages overlap, and some human themes are more or less present in all conscious phases of life.

Its just this stage, no stages. This cannot be related to terms of "the best" or "the worst" stage either. So, what stage are you talking about? I haven't gone through any. We are all the children of the children of the children....

the best stage is how you actually feel in life gen rally and that can happen at any stage to the young and to the old. its what you do to your life at any age makes you in who you are now.
its today is what is important of what you do tomorrow at any time frame of stages. some miss out and never know their journey and some do.life has no rules or boundaries but possibilities explore open your mind and see where life can take you

i believe the best stages are childhood(when we are below 13 years) and old age because this is the time when we don't have to study much, don't have to do household work and don't have to go to office. we can do whatever we want and now i really miss my life 2 years back.
