for ladies,when is the right time to take birth controll pills?

is it 3 days after your period?or a week after period?

My Doc started me on the first day of my period to be protected right away.

You CAN start whenever you'd like, you just have to use condoms for the first week to have maximum protection.

To start taking birth control pills, I've been told to take it the first Sunday after your period ends.
