in order to have a confindent voice all you have to do is learn to use a command voice, don't speak from you throat speak from the diaphram it makes your voice louder and smoother, if you speaking to an audience you need to stand up right don't slouch or hang your head down you need to keep it up like you balancing books on you head with out all the movment, but for the command voice you seek breath deep don't stutter, pick three or four people in the audince in diffrent parts of the room and just shift you **** for them accross the room this will give the apperance of your looking at everybody only focus on a few. If you use hand gestures don't be too verbose small signifigant gestures wll do just fine, good luck

Just remember, before you speak, to breathe deeply and be as calm and collected as you can. Use your best command of the English language especially when you speak to strangers and Definitely if you interview for a job. People on Answers might enjoy using slang (I do) but in the real world slang is just a gimmick to make others feel like they "belong" and it's annoying and seems rude to anyone "outside" that group.

Confidence comes from knowing you try as much as anyone else to be a good person who establishes their own values and is true to those who care. Not everyone is going to "luv ya"!! Good Luck!! @8-) Luv Ya!!

Great speakers practice. In front of a mirror, with a tape recorder, etc... The vast majority of people don't like to hear a recording of their own voice - that's because it doesn't sound the same to you, but it's something you can get used to.
