well ive started to feed the birds every morning, i know this sounds sad, but when it was snowing and really cold i had this dream that i woke up and went out the door and there were loads of dead birds everywhere, so the next day i went out and bought a huge bag of seeds and have started scattering them every day (neighbours look at me like im a weirdo) but i dont care! I gave a homeless lady a tray of fruit flapjack last week, other than that no other deeds apart from actually turning up for work on time.

Yes.
The mud flap fell off of my car.
I park near the local road crew's maintenance building, and when I came out, I was going to call my brother and ask him to fix it for me. One of the road workers had already fixed it! This may not sound like a big deal, but my car was parked in an unpaved lot - a lot of slush and ice.
Made my whole day that someone was so nice :)

I work with homeless males in Liverpool, so yeah most days I am doing things for others!
Even though this is my job and I do get paid ( although not enough ha ha ) I still get alot of satisfaction getting a guy accommodation and some sort of employment who has lived rough for many years - yes very rewarding!

Yesterday, I wrangled up the landlord's goat. That was hard too. The goat doesn't like people, and was trying to headbutt me the whole way with his long horns... It took the help of one of the kids at the bus stop too. Stinkin goat...
I also help take care of the german shepard next door everyday, since her owner leaves her with no food or water day after day, hot outside or cold, and the dog's pregnant... Then the woman has the nerves to get mad at me for giving her water!!! UGH!
;o)

as i was driving home today, a young laddie started running in the road almost getting himself run down i slammed on the brakes and he reached down and picked up a tatty baseball cap,
as i was just about to chastise him he ran and caught up with the woman who'd dropped it and then went off about his day.
nutter!
would you risk your life to rescue a hat? it was pretty awesome!
my good deed for today? i think pressing the brake qualifies.

My next door neighbour is blind so I go in every day to read the local paper to him, dust round and pick stuff up so he doesn't fall over them, make sure he has everything he needs then sit and talk to him for a while, I am sure he would do the same for me if he could, lovely man he is.

yeah, i was walking up a massive hill towards the laundrette with two HUGE bags of wet washing and these 2 builder guys were walking the other way, they stopped, took my bags, and carried them up the hill to the laundrette for me, in the opposite direction than they were going. Good deed, or trying it on? either way, i didnt have to carry those horrible heavy bags up the hill. Thanks guys!!

Does it have to be a human? I haven't had human contact today. But I did take care of my dogs. Took them for a long walk, gave them bowls full of fresh water and food. They are quite content and happy now, asleep in front of the fire.
