Place is a word intended to describe a place or a location where a physical object exists within a physical reality.

God is spirit. A spirit is not a physical object nor is he technically confined to the physical reality.

For this reason place is in effect an improper term when use to attempt to locate God.

It is like asking if a peanut butter sandwich is male or female. It just doesn't make any sense.

Scripture says from everlasting to everlasting you are God and that he is the King of all eternity and incorruptible. 1 Ti 1:17. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts and his ways are higher than our ways. Isa 55:8, Ro 11:33-36
The heavens are his established place of dwelling. Soloman stated that "the heavens, yes, the heaven of the heavens cannot contain God". 1 Ki 8:27

So from that viewpoint it only gives Gods place of dwelling, which is beyond what we can fathom, and he has always been. So we may never know the answer to that question, at least in our imperfect condition.

It was a challenging thought though, and a good question.

God has to be known first before this question can be answered. If you ask...Where does human beings liv? In homes. Then ask...where do wild animals live? In the jungle. Now, you see?
If God is a wave (smaller than a particle...hypothesis) then, God
is present in the vacuum, which 99.9% of the atom is made of.
This vacuum contains the information that makes our DNA function.A vacuum is not an empty space. It is actually very dense....so you see?
Then, He is present everywhere!!! God can be in your heart, but that would limit Him, and we know He is unlimited..infinite!. After death you don't have a heart anymore so , this answer is limiting. If He is in the mind, what is the mind consist of? If it does not consist of the body or consciousness, then it will also be limiting to say so....that's why i say He is everywhere!!!

God is omnipresent, as such it is very difficult to mark any place where God lived earlier or now. It is safe to say that God lives where ever God lived earlier I personally know one address of God and that is the human mind, This holds true for the past present and future.
