Economics in a public school?

2007-02-21 01:33:19 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 1

I'm not sure basic economics would actually help... in fact it may hurt....

if you actually got everyone looking at the numbers... they would realize that the wealthy control a great deal more in the U.S. than most probably think the wealthy control... and that's the real spark plug to socialism...

right now, you have a lot of people that have no idea how the economy and finances work... and the majority of them aren't socialist...

you actually see more socialist people at the university level, where most people have taken some economics classes...

Yes. There will always be socialists.

because there are two ways to use solid information. One is, in this case, to better your life. The second is to use it to deceive and manipulate people.

The best question would be, will there always be such an overwhelming infastructure that includes Washington, media, Hollywood, the UN, South Ameriacan dictators, former U.S. presidents, european elites, teacher's unions, et al, that advances socialism?
