Lysol is bad for the environment, and not something that you would want to stick in your mouth. I'm not sure how it would affect your daughter, even after sitting the toys out for awhile before she touches them, but if I were you I wouldn't take the chance. Instead, buy a product from a company that isn't toxic, such as Method products, or something natural found from Whole Foods or Trader Joes. These type of products are not harmful, and thus you won't have to worry about things going into your daughter's mouth that should not be. Lysol is powerful, so go ahead and use it to clean the kitchen and bathroom, but for toys it would probably be best to buy something like the products mentioned above. I buy Method products and use them for everything, because they're cheap, smell amazing, and not harmful to my family, my animals, or the environment. You can get Method products at Target or supermarkets, definitely worth a try!

I used to work in the baby room at a day care center. At the end of every day we used to wash the toys in a very weak bleach solution. We would fill a laundry tub up with water & put a couple of capfuls of bleach into the water. Then add the toys and let them soak for a few minutes. We would then rinse them & let them dry overnight. The owner swore by this and it's safe too.
Just use gloves when reaching into the water. Even a mild bleach solution will dry out your skin.

No not at all. If you rinse it off your defeating the purpose. You just have to spray alittle bit
on the toy. and leave it for a little while. Lysol
spray is one of the best sprays. They also have
lysol wipes you can try that as well. I have used lysol for many years now and i always used it
on the boys toys and there beds before putting
clean sheets on them every week.
hope this helps

No i would not use it on anything she will put in her mouth unless you rinse it. Also the the Lysol is only 99.9% effective on prewashed surfaces, so if you are using a anti-bacterial soap to preclean that should be enough. I would suggest just using hot soapy water or a 90% water/10% bleach solution which you let air dry.

I dont know that it is not safe but i wouldnt put it on my 6 month old babies toys she is also putting everything in her mouth. I see it as i wouldn't want to eat that crap so i wouldnt make her. I know that clorox everywhere spray for all surfaces is safe. On the comercial it even says that you can use it on toys and food surfaces ect. If you want to use your stuff i would definetly rinse it REALY well afterwards.
