Depends..... Cats are USUALLY less maintenance they don't need to go outside all of the time they automatically use the litter box, they don't need constant attention and are pretty independent. Dogs need to be trained how to go on a potty pad or outside and you constantly have to put them out side or on the pad until they get the hint. They are more dependent on you they need a lot of attention and companionship. Thy also can do more stuff with you like learn tricks and what not. Personally I would always pick a dog over a cat either way i am sure you will be happy your pet will become like one of the family. They are all have there own personality and will keep you amused frustrated and entertained all at once. Good Luck

i like both they each have there own goods and bads. cats are fun your gunna have a loving companion and always wanting a good rub, with a dog your going to have more work but still fun dogs are more play full when it comes to exercises and outdoor things but cats are also fun to playing with when you get some yarn or something flashy. its a hard pick

I couldn't chose between my dog or cats. I like my dog because I can walk him and get some exercise. I also like my cats because it is hilarious to watch them play. I definitely could not pick between them.

Dogs as they give so much more love when you are feeling down they come over and brin you back up by doing something really funny.
