Chocolate will work in the short term, but it'll only make you feel worse in the end.
Eat something with carbs and protein, get up and move around.

This is what works for me:
1. Hot tea with LOTS of real sugar (sugar is the key). NO coffee, you need the egcg in the tea.
2. Walk up and down the steps. Get that blood flowing. Do about 15 min of stairs, up and down.
3. Eat something. A piece of toast with butter, someone's bologna sandwich, something quick and small with a carb and a protein.
Good luck, we've all been there! Take a nap at lunch if you can, even a quick 10 minutes with your eyes closed will help!

Try a sports drink, they are the best for helping your body with alcohol. In fact you should drink some before going to bed after drinking then when you wake up, something like a litre of it. and some chocolate might help. Thats what I take and I dont get hangovers.

Take two Advil and drink a lot of water; at least 8oz every hour. It's the dehydration form the alcohol that causes most of the problem. Also, B vitamins can help.

Get hydrated - your body is probably screaming out for water. I think drinking orange juice is good to, it has vitamin C and a lot of naturally occuring sugar to pep you up. Eat light refreshing foods like salads and fruit, your body really doesn't need heavy, greasy food to contend with on top of the alcohol.

Try coffee or get some hot or cold water and splash it on your face. Next time before you drink a lot make sure you don't have something important the next day. =P

Take a break if you can and go for a walk in the fresh air. Drink plenty of water as you are probably still dehydrated from the booze!!

honey, i hate this answer, but its true. The best soulution to recover from what you describe is to drink LOTS OF WATER....half of the shittyness you feel is from extra dehydration! DRINK LOTS OF WATER! Coffee will make it worse because caffine will pep your tired worn body up, to let it fall harder, plus add drasticly to your already dehydrated body.
