Was one of the best movies I have ever seen. So yeah, you can say that I've liked it :). Now let's share some reasons:
1. doesn't display useless violence (actually, if you watch it carefully, doesn't display any violence directly, the dreadful things happen off-camera, but even the suggestions that you get are there for a different purpose than simply impressing the audience with bloody images).
2. touches on a serious problem, in a very deep manner (the alienation of modern society).
3. just when it slightly starts to seem boring, it switches to a different tone (when the guy stops killing and starts to want to confess)
4. it touches (IMO) on the idea of Hell. Basically, Patrick is in some sort of Hell and is trying to get away from it, one way (pushing the alienation to the limit) or another (receiving punishment). But his Hell is built up such that there's no way out.
5. The way they just keep on mistaking one for another, it's just hilarious and brilliant. Besides, it makes a very serious point - such elements of the society are indeed freely interchangeable (one reason why there is no point in punishing one of them for having eliminated another one).
And there's still much more to say...

This is one of the greatest movies ever
The dialogue is so monotone yet absolutley serious about facial creams and huey lewis and the news, etc. these things that really mean absolutly nothing in hte big picture but everything to Patrick because he's not made up of anything but pointless commercialism and materlialism.
So on one hand it's really sad b/c patrick realizes it, yet instead of changing or even realizing what he's going through (like a normal person would/could/should) he starts to kill people (which in a very weird way is absurd and thus hilarious)
He's slowly losing his soul yet he doens't even realize what that is, because the environment that he's in is just perpetuated by all his buddies who can barely tell the difference from each other (which is again funny and sad at the same time)
i guess what i'm trying to say is that the dark humor in this movie is what makes it great and it has an interesting message

I really enjoyed the film. I thought that Christian Bale was chilling in the role because it seems so believable that someone would be crazy enough to kill someone else because they had better business cards than them.
The acting was very good too. Reese Witherspoon was good as the fiance that has no knowledge of what she is getting herself into with this guy and I liked Jared Leto as the object of Bale's hatred and obsession. The storyline was very good too, because we get to watch him spiral downward and go insane while covering up his insanity behind a Brooks Brothers suit.
The scene in the movie that always makes me laugh is at the end when the ATM machine tells him to feed it a cat and he tries to put the stray cat into the machine much to the horror of the old woman walking by.
