i'm guessing you are from the uk. most americans would have given the state. ie manchester, xx.

i found $984 on travelocity for the airfare alone, inclusive of all taxes. this is for travel Mar 20 - Mar 27. fool around with the dates and you might find better deals.

the airport codes are MAN for manchester and SJO for san jose, costa rica. I was there in early january and stayed in an a cool hostel in san pedro for five days.

Yes, just go to any travel agent and they will do the booking for you. The trip will consist of many flights by different carriers.
You may fly into JFK New York or London to LA then direct to San Jose Costa Rica, or from LA through Guatemala or Mexico City.
The routes are almost infinite, however, the travel agent just enters your departure point and destination then the computer booking system will come up with a critical path and cost. Be sure to go to Playa Punta Manuela and see the big Pacific breakers.

I assume you mean Manchester New Hampshire? You can check with that airport to see whether or not they go there. Worst case scenerio is that you would fly from there, then switch planes elsewhere to get there. Give them a call and ask.
