To all you commuters out there travelling from West London to Waterloo. Which mode of transport is most sardine-like? The Richmond-Waterloo train or the tube on the central line to Waterloo? I would be travelling from Acton to Waterloo to be in work for 9.00am. Or any other suggestions of ways to get to work without suffering commuter hell. Before you mention it I don't see myself going into work fresh of a bicycle! Hair, people!

All public transport to central London are generally fully packed during the rash hour morning, that is up to around 10 am. Only after 10 can you find semi-packed transports. Even roads are packed, traffic jam, nose to tail. You cannot possibly avoid that.

So, the only way is to leave early, such as 7 to 8, you might be lucky.

Its un avoidable.

Sorry, but that is London.

All the best!/
