It really depends what your job is.
First, I strongly believe in not having a job you don't enjoy. I realise that money makes the world go around but, at the end of the day, if you're not happy with what you do, you won't be happy with who you are.
Second, someone's gotta pick up the trash. There's a job out there for everyone so analyze your skills, specialties and passions and choose a job or career that's right for who you are. I, for example, believe in National Security and protecting the populus so I am in law enforcement.
Third and finally, socialize. There's a fine line between being too close to the people you work with and distancing them completely. Co-workers can make a day go by with relative ease if you take the time to get to know them and let them get to know you. I'm not saying spill your life story because chances are they don't want to know but be yourself and they will be as well.
Good luck!

Make a photo album of all the things you want to accomplish and places you want to visit. Make the last page a picture of things you want to escape and a sign that says get back to work. Keep it in your desk drawer and everything you start slacking look at the book!
