I sincerely hope you are not serious about intentions to let people ride in the trailer! It is indeed illegal in all of the U.S. as well as in Canada.
I doubt very seriously that a minivan can haul a trailer of that size. I am guessing that the largest railer you could haul with a minivan would be 16' or so, and that would depend. You can check on tongue weight on both the trailer and your minivan to determine whether you can. I sure wouldn't want to try!
You be best off with a large SUV or a fullsize pickup truck.
I have a Chevy 3/4 ton pickup with a 450 engine to pull a 30 ft. fifth wheel, and it pulls it nicely, but I can't imagine trying to pull a long trailer with less than a 450 engine, or you will have problems on hills.

Uhhh....I think that's a pretty big vehicle for towing with a honda odyssey....check the weight of the trailer vs. what your owners manual says, but i am pretty sure you are out of luck.
You really need an american pickup, or maybe a toyota tundra.
And you shouldn't have people riding in it.

Dangerous enough that it's illegal in all 50 states to have passengers in a trailer that is being towed.

Illegal, unsafe and stupid....if it were to start to sway a person could be seriously injured or even ejected out a window....not to mention most likely killed if it were to be involved in an accident and flipped over.
