Why Don't Women Wear Pantyhose Anymore???

Question

I'm wondering why women don't wear pantyhose anymore. I hear many women saying they're old fashioned, uncomfortable, etc.
My wife has a job where the dress code is business casual, but she'll often wear a skirt with pantyhose or dress slacks with pantyhose.
I personally think hose, especially something more natural, like tan, make a women's legs look smooth and 'finished'. I feel they make a woman look more elegant.
According to my wife, she likes how they feel when wearing them, but makes sure the fit is right on. If it's not, she says they feel binding and uncomfortable.

So, all you women out there, why don't you wear those pantyhose?!

All you men, what's your vote? Do you like them? What colors?

I do wear them......even in Winter, under jeans to keep warmer.
They just have to be the proper size.

Every now and then I see older women wearing pantyhose (if you ever notice) than younger or young women do. Where ever I go, if it's to the bank, post office, malls, restaurants or some other place or just to event then rarely I will see a few or one wearing them. My lady wears pantyhose but only when we go out on a special date or if we are having a love making session. When you say that women look sexy in those pantyhose, I 100% agree with you on that one because boy I break my neck if I see one wearing a pair and that just the way that I am, I'm a nylon freak! I really wish that my lady would take a job that requires her to wear pantyhose by dress code. I consider my self luck to have some one that would actually wear them for me when I make a request.

when i am wearing a skirt or dress, i to use to find them uncomfortable especially the elastic around the waist, i have been in the business industry for 20 years and dress code has always been professional, except Fridays were it was allowed business casual,
i found that getting a proper fit over the years helps big time, they may cost a little more but Worth it, i always choose beige and black, and i have a few that are med. navy, my favourite is beige or skin tone colour for a more natural sheer look,

because of my pete size, pantyhose are either to big or to small, so i perfer stockings, they are sexy and very very comfortable

my husband prefers in the summer no pantyhose, or stockings, and so do i, because my legs have a great summer tan, and it looks great, when i wear a casual skirt out off hours, its only when my natural tan fades in the winter that the stockings, come in handy for me

I personnally feel that stockings, either stay up tops (thighhighs) or worn with suspenders are much more practical and better fitting for women. Besides most guys (myself included) loath the look of pantyhose. They are not appealing or sexy at all to me. Now cuban heel backseamed stockings, with or without garterbelt, is truly a TURN ON and makes the leg look so much more lovely!! My preference... Sheer black cuban heel stockings with a red back seam coupled with a lace garterbelt!! WOW!! OOHH LA LA!!!

I do not think pantyhose are OUT of fashion. It is a necessary accessory. You cannot be a business woman wearing a skirt with NO pantyhose. That would look very ciche, unprofessional.

I think women should always wear nylons, but I am not a fan of pantyhose, and neither are most women I know. They all prefer thigh highs, or regulars sheer stockings and a garter belt, which is my favorite. Very sexy and practical too.

I likd sheer black, coffee, and suntan when casual.

I don't see any females wearing nylons its pretty disturbing actually. So many young and older have some nasty looking legs. Please at least cover up that. I sure don't want to look at it.

Sheer pantyhose are sexy, and women should be encouraged to wear them frequently. As for color, it depends on the occassion: tan or white for business wear, black for dressed up evening wear, and red for sex.

There's nothing like a woman in pantyhose.The bare "look" screams "I'm lazy and I like looking like a slob." This is from generation "W" for Whiney". I realize now that American females are possibly the worst dressers on the planet.Just look at old videos from decades past.Women went all out to look beautiful.Now they just roll out of bed and think they look good.Yuck!
