Most have the USA Today mentality. They go by the headline and sound bite. The facts take too much time. I use the Internet for my news.

Well CNN has been saying that this was a planned withdrawal that's been coming for sometime now, that the area the British control is peaceful enough for them to turn over that control to the Iraqis,And the main sound bite has been of Tony Blair telling Parliament that very thing.
But I see on Fox where they're already pushing their version-the Liberal Media is lying about the withdrawal, they're claiming that the Brits are abandoning us.So as usual,Fox is not reporting the news, they're just making it up.

I don't remember the exact dates, but 1500 troops are coming home relatively soon, with another 1500 to follow in a month or two. hat's the total reduction i heard about. I think I heard that on NBC and ABC. I don't watch Fox, no truth there.

NEVER, ever, rely on a single news source. That is the first method for being drawn into being misinformed. All news sources are biased in the direction of their Editor/Director, and whatever whims they decide are the flavor of the month.

I am certain that each and every 'News' network posts clearly and exactly whatever bald face propaganda the plutocrats who own the network want the sheeple to believe. Joseph Goebbels, the Patron Saint of the modern media and entertainment networks, must be extremely satisfied with his progeny, wherever he may now be.

after world war 2 Hilter said his mistake was in not controlling the media. Well, they have accomplished that this time but they didn't plan on the internet. Now there is a rush to control it. So no, you will never get the real story from the main stream media.
