I consider myself an intelligent person - three 'A' grades at A-level, a law degree and a successful career in journalism.
I read at least a book a week on my daily commute. I read the Observer on Sundays. I love Private Eye and watch Newsnight. I'm 25 and my friends think I'm an old fogey for listening to Radio 4.
But.... I love Heat magazine! And Now! And Closer too! And that doesn't make my stupid or unable to read. It just makes me an average 25-year-old woman.
Sure, I know celebrity gossip isn't that important in the great scheme of things.
Sure, I know reading about Charlotte Church going out in her slippers isn't everyone's cup of tea.
Yes, I agree people like Jade Goody shouldn't be shot into the limelight for being stupid.
But sometimes I just like reading some trash! Is it so wrong that it makes me feel good inside when I see Tyra Banks with cellulite?
And I watch (and enjoy!) Big Brother, American Idol, Desperate Housewives, Britain's Next Top Model and actually, most reality TV shows.
If other people have a problem with that, I really don't care!

This is the best cellulite removing program on the market right now, was founded by an expert personal fitness trainer. Here you can found more information http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=539
This technique has proven to be very successful for women all over the world regardless of their age, or weight. Cellulite lotions, pills, along with other similar options are not very effective in removing dimply skin from cellulite. A good approach is to consume healthy foods by consuming lots of wholesome foods, and implementing a consistent workout program that incorporates both cardio exercise and resistance training. Check the program I suggested and you'll start seeing results quickly.

aaaaaagh, my secret is exposed. I go on and on to people about what a lot of rubbish they are and refuse to buy any but, as soon as I am in my hairdresseres, I gather up an armful of Heat and Hello and all the other trash, sit back in my chair and tut-tut about these disgusting celebrities and airheads and their useless lives. Oh, and when I am in WH Smith - as Mr. GorgeousFluffpot is buying his car magazines - I am leafing through the celeb mags tutting again. But I would never buy one - oh no definitely not!!!! (But I'll read any that I find lying about !)

I read them - some can be very informative about current affairs or issues such as women in 3rd world countries, female cancer survivors, child abuse survivors etc and yes I enjoy finding out about the latest fashions and celeb gossip
In this shi tty world we live in surely we are allowwed some bloody vices - so now even magazine readers are social outcasts - oh did I not mention I smoke and yes to your surprise I am single parent!!

I make no secret about it - love a bit of gossip and read these magazines - although I don't always believe what I read! Sometimes a trashy magazine makes my hour long train journey much more bearable!

These magazines are what get me through my workouts, business travel, and supplement my vacation!! I was unaware of the sterotypical mindset towards the consumers who read these magazines. If what you say is true, then I can verify that I am NOT that type of reader. :)

I could really care less about the stars, I have enough in my life to keep me busy. Remember they are all just human and have problems like us only thing is they have no privacy.

I don't read them because I could care less about them. If other people want to read them, more power to them.

I read them and love them. People complain and say that it is all false but eventually most of it is true.
