Blair doesn't give a **** about me and you the working class as the petition for road tax increase demonstrates!! I can't believe that this shenanigan is allowed to carry on, somebody surely should regulate what the government is up to!! They are absolutely nailing us all to the floor with their taxes, I personally don't think big businesses should have anything to do with the government because that's all they care about in the end, not us. Business and politics should remain separate, no more big election campaigns funded by Tescos, and then the owners of which suddenly become Lords and Ladies!! In other countries like France, the people rise up and protest blockading ports and creating havoc and the government has to back down, this happened in Britain with the fuel crisis, a few lorry drivers got the hump and blockaded the fuel refinery's and it worked. Here in Britain we are just force-fed political spin and expected to swallow it even though we know whats really going on! Us the British people are to relaxed about what the government are up to, we should go out on the streets and protest, kick up a fuss, just like the French minus the onions and garlic! I'm emigrating as soon as possible. Somewhere hot preferably.

Tell me any politician that cares, once they get into power, this latest tax on road usage will not affect him as no doubt politician's will be exempt from it or will claim it back,if they can claim it back for going to work then why cant the rest of us?.
As for going he cannot go yet as his pension goes up a substantial amount when he has served 10 years as prime minister.I bet his pension is safe not like many people who saved with the government pension scheme only to lose out.
No it is not fair that he is still making decisions, nor that he ever did why should we have a Scottish prime minister telling us what to do, wouldn't he be better serving Scotland.

I don't think he's ever cared. I met him a couple of years ago at a Labour Party Rally, just before the last Election. One of his workers asked me if I wouldn't mind filling in a Labour Party Application form and hand it to him personally. I did as I was asked, I filled in the form, then handed it to Mr. Blair. He didn't even know what it was. His secretary had to explain to him that it was an application form. I was told I would receive a thankyou letter straight from 10 Downing St. But I never received one.
Personally I found him cold and calculating, just there to win points for the Election and nothing else. But at least I got him to sign my daughter's School reading book.

If labour want to stay in power the Blair must go now and give Brown a chance to show he is different. If not they will loose the next election.
Tony Blair like lots of politicians really only cares about himself and his hold on power. He says he wants to leave a legacy but it looks like it is getting harder all the time to come up with something people will remember and respect him for.

Tony Blair is showing every sign of being totally out of touch with reality he even believes his own publicity (spin) his cabinet is looking more corrupt by the day, what was the motive for 24 hour pub opening and super casinos?. As for Gordon Brown if he had any bottle he would have been Prime Minister years ago. When the Labour Party regained power I was delighted but they are a bitter disappointment.

I will be honest, I remember the day after Labour came to power in !997, I felt hopefull for the first time for years. How quickly it went down the toilet. Blairs government react to whatever is in the news, he offers crisis management only, he and cronies are not fit for the job. I feel conned. Blair lives in la la land, he keeps spouting the same old spin and seems to think we believe it. The only hope I have left is the men in white coats come and take him away. He never cared. And he is difficult to get rid of.

Blair is and always has been a jellyfish no backbone, he cares only for himself.
Could Blair live in this country after Labour loses surely not, once the real truth comes out about all the lies, dodgy deals, corruption and criminal behaviour he has been involved in, he hopefully will be extradited from America to stand trial for war crimes.

I doubt that he ever really cared for anyone or anything apart from lining his pocket. Have you seen the email he has sent to everyone who signed the road pricing petition - does he think we are without common sense or any intelligence? His comments actually amount to very little apart from the fact that he pays lip service to 'debate' - with whom, I wonder?

Paddy where do you live? or was your answer tongue in cheek?.
All Tony Blair cares about is... you guessed.. Tony Blair. Off he'll go into the sunset, earning loads of money, telling the stupid yanks how brilliant he is and leaving the British tax payer to pick up the tab for the bloody mess he's made of this country.
