It's easier to immigrate to the States than it is to Canada isn't it? And why is that by the way?

No, actually it is much easier to immigrate to Canada as compared to US. That is because Canada with it's huge area, is quite short of people, and therefore encourages immigration. For example, in Canada you can immigrate even without a job offer in hand. But in US, you can't imagine to do so in even in your wildest dreams!

Wrong, it's easier to immigrate to Canada. Canada needs the boost in population, while American does not. America only needs cheap labor, not more people. I've heard that it's such a concern that women get a long time off work as incentive to have children. Do you realize there's only 30 million people in Canada, versus the 300 million in the US?

If u do not have a job waiting for u in Canada, when immigrating, you must have the means to support yourself OR have a sponsor who agrees to support you. They become responsible for your debts.

Which one is easier? Well, It took 2 brothers & their wives in Australia (one applied to Canada and on to the U.S.) each took 3 yrs to get landed immigrant status in each country.
