Tom Delay was not convicted of anything. He is the victim of an overzealous democrat prosecutor who is working for the national democrats to discredit him. It just hardball politics. I loved it when he worked to redraw the districts in Texas and all the democrat legislators screamed like stuck pigs and left the State for weeks at a time to avoid the vote. Democrats have been redrawing voting districts nationwide for years to suit their electoral aspirations. Now its a crime when a republican does it?
