American Idol, the worst ever?

I think last night was the worst American Idol ever! Does anyone agree or did I miss something last night?

I couldn't believe that episode! They were terrible. I agree absolutely agree with you. Although I hate when the contestants get into this this part of the show, it gets really boring. I love the auditions because it doesn't matter if they are good or not its still funny. Last night I had to change the channel because I thought the contestants were terrible and it started to get really boring. Last year there were good singers but this year, I don't even know what will happen.

That was probably the worst episode I have ever seen. Thank God for Blake Lewis and Phil Stacey who had the closest thing to a professional performance. The rest of these guys were scared...uninspired. Even the two good performances were sub-par compared to at least 5 guys from last year. I can't believe these are the 12 best male vocalists in the nation. I think the producers are losing it.

Last night was completely awful! And I say that with a fulll Simon Cowell accent. The ONLY two I thought were remotely kinda good were Blake and Chris Sligh. I will watch the girls tonight, but at this point, NO ONE interests me!!

Where are the Clays, the Constantines, the Joshs??!! Just to name a few of that past great guy contestants. Poor talent pool this year.

I agree. I didn't think that the guys did too well. Maybe they got nervous or something. I thought Blake did the best, and a few others did okay. but for the most part..... I definatly was not the best way to start off the season. Maybe the girls will do better tonight.

I have to agree.
No one really stood out and gave it their all.
I'm not really liking this season that much.

Last season was so much better! Chris Daughtry and Kat McPhee were the best performers/singers of the season.

Edited: I liked Jared Cotter, Brandon Rogers, and Blake Lewis last night out of all the other guys.

I actually think there was something wrong with the way the mixing was done. The tone of everyone of them seemed to be too tinny (way too much treble and not enough base) the sound guy should be fired for screwing that up so bad

I agree with you 100 percent . The guys were horrible. I was listening to them like how did some of them get this far. I was so not impressed with anybody. I sure hope the girls knock it out the box tonight though.
