When Computers (either your PC or those in your mobile phone) delete things, those things remain stored until being overwritten by something else. The Computer just removes a pointer to the data so that it thinks it isn't there anymore an allocates the space as free. There are specialist companies dealing with data recovery that rely on this principle.

It is still stored somewhere in your phone. It is just out of the way, and gone.

it doesnt exist anymore. Its completey wiped off.

it gets erased, and wiped.. also you could ask where does the computer 'recycle bin'' things go when emptied.....
