I don't understand the end of "Hide and seek" with Robert De Niro and Dakota Fanning. The crazy character is the father who became Charlie?? Or is the child ?
Because at the end, the child is a psychiatric hospital, so, is she crazy ?

No, the father ended up being a scitzofranic and he was the one who had two sides and was killing people, therefore it made the child have psychological problems.

The father's 2nd personality is Charlie. He has multiple personality disorder, well now it's called dissociative identity disorder. The girl appears to be following in her father's footsteps according to her drawing of her with two heads at the end. The ending where she's in a hospital is an alternative ending, at least on the DVD; I never saw it in theaters.
