To me all you need in life are TRUE friends, don't worry about the rest. When I was a teenager I had dozens of friends, but now as I have gotten older I only have a few & now there is only ONE that is my true friend, even though I do have some close friends.

i like the way you asked a question, usually we call the person as best friend who spends more time with you, close friend to a person to whom you know from long time, friends never need title, in actual there is no term like that but when you are explaining to someone else the relation ship you have with other guy you use such terms, only friend can also work, else you can say i know xyz very well.

true friend-- never exist(friend is 1 who comes in when the whole world goes out) so no one does
close friend is 1 who just sits besides u and tell her/his problems
best friend is 1 who helps a lot when u r in trouble & 1 or the other day he/she will not come to help u

these three names give you one meaning. true friend is the most closed, best friend. he will give you when you need more than others. some people smash their life because of this best friends.
those guys not best friends. a best friend always come to shear with you happiness and sadness. he never do such thing that
you will caught on trouble.

A true friend is who helps us everytime in our bad time as well as good time and on him we can belive called true friend on the other hand a friend by which we are very close and we can tell him any probleam called close friend.

these r one n the same qualities of a friend who is close, who keeps ur secrets (true) n best friend because no one will b the same as the person who is ur life long friend who is far but u feel that she/he is near with u whn u need him/her.

my "true" Best" "close" friend is also known as "My running buddy".
I dont really think that we have to have titles for them but this lets others know how much you care about this person.

friend is always friend. he/she is not special, true or close. i think all friends are best and better then other if we know them well.
