that a person asking a questions is asking it from a personal standpoint?
Just curious, most questions I ask are just to simply ask to see what you all will react with. Seems a lot take everything too serious here at times.

There is always something personal in what we say and do, it's human nature to be who we are, the thing to remember is; sometimes that aspect that happens to BE personal could be the fun, witty or tongue in cheek side. If this site isn't about fun, you should be with the three dimensional people.

Seems to be a combination with some folks.
I try not to judge what's being asked or go to far with it because you simply don't know what path some folks are walking and it's so hard to really see the person beyond the question sometimes.
For me personally, I almost always ask a question because I'm curious about others and I like to see what responses I get.
A few are personal, most aren't.

I think it all depends on the question being asked. I like the questions here at P&S, because i think most of the questions asked are similar to yours and one can answer them without being serious and have fun with it. The fact that there's less seriousness here than other categories keeps making me want to come back for more. There's definitely way to many uptight people in this world, and its nice to escape from that.

I think most people don't take things seriuosly at all. There are some people who have really thoughtful questions and they deserve a "real" answer. I like the fun questions but I hate the completely stupid, senseless ones. It is nice to have a mix of fun questions and semi-thought provoking ones.

I think some of the Q's are asked that way, but certainly not all of them. I suppose that I assume people's Q's are mostly random thoughts, because that's what mine are. Some of mine are about how I'm feeling, but my Moods tend to be random too ;)

I believe so. You never ask a question unless you have some kind of attachment to the problem is poses

I think they want a question answered. To them the question is not as simple as we make it to be.
