I LOVE Geography but I am also good with numbers. Which job pays more? Which one has a better job market? Thanks

I would suggest to you to look at making "geography" your major. Look at the world, look at what is happening. You should now contact the National Geographic Society,Greenpeace,Save The Planet, the list is endless. With you Master's in Geography you can map, explore, develop, etc. The "planet" is changing daily, right in front of our eyes. You should be exploring ways to "get your foot" in the door NOW. Get in touch with Al Gore's group. You can also fall back on accounting. But with a love of geography, WOW - go for it - the sky's not even the limit!!

Accounting pays more and has a better job market. Better yet go into Finance. Both Finance and Accounting allow you many opportunities in ANY company and allow you to make good living. Geography is a much more limited field, which makes the opportunities very few. Do some research on possible careers for these specific majors and what the salary range is. There is a lot of information out there.

I would go with the accounting. Although geography is a very interesting topic, i really don't know of any high paying jobs offered to geography majors. Accounting is more practical, and there is a better job market out there for them accountants.
