my psp is version 2.71 SE-C , i created the "MP_ROOT" folder then created the 100MNV01 folder in it...when i upload video files in it and try playing it on my psp it says that there are no videos stored...

can some please help me...it will be much appreciated

The psp needs the file to have a certain title. Use PSP Video 9 as previously suggested, or buy Max Media Manager. (Video 9 is probably better; it will convert files to PSP format that Max Media Manager won't)

Like that guy before me said: the file needs a certain name.
Before putting the file in the 100MNV01 folder, name the file M4V00001. The second file you put in your PSP name it M4V00002. It goes on and on.

I reccomend using PSP video 9 its really simple to use software (there is instructions on the website) that converts and transfers the video It works with my PSP and I have the same firmware as you.Sony purposely made this difficult so they could sell more UMD movies so it is definitely best to use software.PSP video 9 is the only free software
