If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express, just go to TOOLS and pick Accounts (or email settings). From there, you can pick your email settings and change the displayed name.
If you are using Yahoo, then go to the Options section. Then pick your General settings. At that point, you can change the display name.
Just maybe you should use one e-mail address that shows your name, and another (like a free one at Yahoo) that does not show your name. Use the 2nd one for registering products and doing things where you want to hide your identity.
Good luck and Happy Computing!

Go to my account on your email page & change your real name with user name, you are done if your email service provider has given you fascility of anonimity.
