pc miler is the only trustworthy one for trucks and it has a few glitches.the portable nav system that the flying j sells uses pc miler if you want a unit .i use microsoft streets and trips and then verify truck routeing with the rand macnally truck atlas

That's a good one! being as you must remain on truck routes most of the maps like map quest etc. are for cars.Often they will give you direction where trucks cannot go ,like residential areas. I would like to know also . We use a program called PC Miler which is specifically for 18 wheelers.If you have any othe truck related ?'s just ask me I'd be glad to help if I can.

When I want fast miles and directions, I just use map quest, it is fast an simple. It is not always correct on the proper route to take .After driving almost 2 millon miles you dont need a map much. There are many guides out there to use, try map quest it is free as some others cost you money.
