Possibly, but unlikely. For that to happen the world would have to be united under one rule. If everyone held to the same beliefs, disbeliefs, or impartialities there could be peace.
The US
When people of one nation want to be united under another nation's rule so much that they start crawling across barbed wire borders there is evidence to support the unifying of the nations. If everybody wanted to be of the same nation, there would be no reason for war. Sort of like the new heaven and the new earth.
This is not exactly what I wanted to say, but it is as close as I could get at this time.

I seriously doubt it. However we have made the transition from general wars to limited wars and that suggests it may be possible to contain the violence to a degree that would not have been possible a century ago.

In all of the history of the world, there has never been more than 360 ish days of consecutive peace... now what happened to cause that, I have no idea, but I am going to look into it.....

no, human beings have been killing eachother since the begining of time. the first caveman that wanted what the other cave man had took a big rock and smashed him over the head with it. its not the much different now, we just have tanks and infantry. hooah
