It is very important, as you found out, to pick up a rabbit carefully and securely - young children aren't the best at handling bunnies. Rabbits have a fragile skeleton and can easily injurre their spine. Rabbits also tend to hide the fact that they are sick or in pain.
If you rabbit is eating, drinking, peeing and pooping and moving around, she is probably OK. If ANYTHING seems off, I would take her to the vet asap. Please be sure that your vet is what is called "rabbit savvy" and knows about rabbits - they are quite different that cats and dogs.
Here are a couple of articles about identifying if your bunny is sick:

Two-year-old and rabbit. Not a promising combination. Rabbits that are exposed to children, even grade-school children, typically end up biters. They need more patience and gentleness than kids can give them.
Leave the rabbit alone for a few hours. It's probably just frightened, but it could have broken its back: you'd know if its hind legs dragged limply behind it. This is a common injury in rabbits. Sometimes they recover, but more often they are permanently paralyzed. It's best to put down a paralyzed rabbit.
If the rabbit can move about normally, but prefers to huddle in a corner, it probably just hasn't recovered from its fright.
In the future, make sure to teach your child never to pick up, chase, grab, or corner the rabbit. The rabbit should always have an escape route, otherwise it will struggle in your child's hands and possibly hurt them both.
To safely pick the rabbit up, lift it with one hand under its chest and the other under the rump, curling its back legs slightly under its body. Then cradle it feet-down in your arms, letting it hide its head against your chest as you carry it.

leave the bunny alone for a bit and see how it is acting. Really, if it isn't acting weird, it's probably fine.
