I am going on a 4th of July beach trip with 2 kids under 10 but mom is also going. This way I will be able to enjoy the nights as well. If anyone has any suggestions I am all ears!!

St. Pete is right outside Tampa so there is plenty to do there and its beautiful....but you also could try Jacksonville Beaches, or I see you've already looked into St. Augustine....Jacksonville has a nice nite life also and its about 20 mins from St. Augustine but Jacksonville Beaches are nice also

I love Panama city beach, Ft Walton area, seaside....OMG the beaches are beautiful there...White suger!

Destin or Seaside--They are close to Panama City but a lot less trashy.

St augustine it is awesome and there is alot to do there . I am having my honeymoon there . it should be awesome.

i think you should go more southern to fort lauderdale or even boyton beach, comfortable area with alot on the boardwalks, plus minigolf and gokarts everywhere.
