To seek peace is the basic instinct in human. When anyone gets to the height of his career, get a lot of success, has everything money can buy for comfort and pleasure. But at the top of all this, they see that even after so much success & wealth & comfort material there is no peace in their life and it nullifies all their comforts & wealth. Just to find some peace in their stressful lives they go to drugs. When they dont find the peace in drugs too, they don't find any reason to live, they don't find any meaning of their life. Then some of them go to the extent of suicide.
We are gifted with brain and we all must use it to find the right path to achieve a peacefull life in this world and hereafter, which is more necessary than using it to get the material success, and that is the prime function of this mind boggling powerfull computer provided to all of us. Otherwise we won't have any axcuse to cover up our ignorance before the suprem power.

Because she used her beauty in the wrong way. She wanted fame and notority by her body and looks. She would stop at nothing for fame and fortune. She was empty inside. She was looking to fill the void and the more she tried the deeper the void became. What a mess up she was. Of course I assumed you were speaking of Anna Nicole Smith. Marilyn Monroe was murdered because she was in love with the president. There are alot of intelligent beautiful women but these women were sex symbols to be used and exploited.

Many of the women you see on TV-especially the younger ones have a really low self esteem. Having them believe that they are worthless. How they feel about themselves is overmasked by what the media portrays them as. Too, we buy the magazine that the photographers take supporting the fact that we want to see them having a "good" time. The majority of them just want love and affection. For them they can have any guy but they are constantly looking for another as they are never satisfied with what they have....they always want more. Drugs are a way for them to escape from reality and their feelings.

Most of the women lately who have been big users are women who have let themselves be exploited by everyone -- Hugh Hefner, tabloids, etc. They want so badly to be symbols of beauty, but they find it to be an empty life and have to fill that void with something, so instead of becoming decent, good role models, they become washed up druggies. It's a sad society, the focus needs to be taken off beauty and put on brains and heart instead.

Just because they have "everything" does not mean that they are happy. Most of these ladies are very very sad and lonely individuals that find acceptance and temporary happinness through drugs.

They can get drugs for free basically and its alot of fun to do drugs and if you do too much you can just go to rehab and make a comeback

Obviously they don't have everything if they are on drugs. People on drugs are usually depressed and have low or no self esteem.

because they have stress... they may have money and hot men.. but the love and affection that's necessary in life.. is never there.
So to calm the stress down, they take drugs.
