Yes I have a dog and cat that does this. They groan to get in my room to sleep. Then they groan to get out. When I try to let them out they just stand there looking up at me as if to say "what are you doing?"

I had a cat that did that. LeRoi was so spoiled it was unbelievable. He would cry to get out, and when you opened the door he'd sit down in the doorway looking out, but wouldn't go out. We ended up putting a cat door in for him.

oh its just not this nut house
the best one is when they think it is warm outside cause the sun is in the window and when you open the door and they get a blast from -10 wind they look at you like your the one who has lost thier mind

we had a dog once and my hubby hated it, he said its your dog Im having nothing to do with it, I was out one day the dog was moaning to get out , my hubby said bog off do what you like sooooo the dog took a dump right at his feet...LOL
yeh our dog at the mo moans to get out, when you open door she just looks at it then walks away... GRRRRRR

Yes! my cats will do that when my bedroom door is shut, then when i open it they just sit there. i think they just want the door open, it is quite annoying.

My cat does the opposite, she cries and cries to come in then when I open the window she runs away.

well...they are like humans,we are never contented right?for example,when you have long hair,you feel like having it short,when u have short hair,you want it long.
your pet wants to get your attention,because maybe it wants to play with you or it wants you to cuddle it
