Bluebells grow from bulbs. It is ILLEGAL to dig up and sell the English Variety.

I wouldn't grow them from seed as they'll take years to get to flowering maturity. You'd be better off buying the bulbs legally from a trusted supplier like:

It is illegal to dig up wild Bluebell bulbs but is not illegal to buy native Bluebell bulbs from a legitimate supplier.

Well done for choosing English Bluebells above the rampant Don Juan Spanish bulbs that are ravishing our native species.

I should think most good garden centres will supply these bulbs, but they are beginning to leaf out at this time of year and are not dormant, so you may be a little late to buy them this year.

Hope you have every success!

Try this website I'm sure you can buy the seeds from there. Shortly mine will be breaking through the surface in my garden and give a wonderful display of Bluebells. In fact English Bluebells growing in Scotland. How's that for pushing your luck! lol

PS Most bluebells grown in Scotland appear to be of the Spanish varient.

No - true English Bluebells are wild and are protected by law. You are not allowed to even pick the flowers and certainly not allowed to dig them up.
