If you do get a second hand one it should be checked by someone who knows what to look for and find out if you can get a repair kit as most carbs are now quite old and jets, floats, gaskets, needle valves, etc. do wear out and might be hard to come by, Lucas spares can sometimes help

try companies that specialise in race engines and supply o/size manifolds. values ect. dont forget that you will need to purchase jets and chokes to accommodate your particular needs
