Read the book at school - wept like, well, like a schoolgirl. Film was good but didn't hit the spot as I already had the characters in my head and, obviously, the actors didn't do my imagination justice.

A movie in which a lead character gets almost burnt to death sums up your teenage years? Wow, I didn't get out nearly enough did I!

Love that film though, I'm sure they will DVD release it if they haven't yet.

Yes I have a copy of the DVD. This was my favorite movie while growing up, and I still love it. You might want to check out the following: Rumblefish, Tex, and That was then this is now. They have a few of the same actors, were also directed by Copolla and the origional books were wtitten by the same author, S.E. Hinton. STAY GOLD PONYBOY, STAY GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!

One of my favorite movies. You can buy it on half.com for little to nothing. Oh, by the way, Charlie Sheen was not in the movie, it was Emilio Estevez, his brother.

Yes. It was a very good movie. I had to read the book in Junior High and that too was very good - I would recommend reading it if you never have.
