Until now I have had NTL for my phone and Broadband and Sky+. For around the same price (£85/month) I can get 10mb Broadband, V+ box and multiroom.
The deal seems good - what does everyone else think - has anyone signed up for this already ?

So you're sleeping around with virgins just because Sky doesn't perform enough for you?

Talk to Dr. Phil.

Best thing to do is to phone sky up and tell them you are moving to NTL and try and see what packages they will offer you at a reduced fee.

At the moment, we are with NTL and getting the Phone, TV & broadband for £20 p/m for 3 months. When this runs out, we then say were are going to leave again and they offer a new incentive to stay with them.

So far we have had free sports & movie channels before they reduced us to £20 p/m.

There is alot of bargaining when it comes to the tv package. It doesnt cost them any more money if you are with sky. You have a dish bolted to your house, which is recieving the signals regardless of whether you have subscribed or not.

I had Sky then when I moved couldn't recieve a signal so went to Telewest which along with NTL is now Virgin Media. To be honest even if I could get Sky I wouldn't swap, I prefer the cable and now that Virgin have taken over I think its gonna get better!

Didn't Virgin take over NTL?

Anyway, I'd rather go without TV and broadband completely than line Richard Branson's ever swelling pockets. Yes, I'd much rather line Rupert Murdoch's.

Its a good deal i looked into it. i don't remember it saying the broadband was 10mb though, i'm sure it was only 2 which is why i never went for it.

also virgin are planning to ditch skyone, sky movies and a couple of other channels.

Did you know that Virgin has merged with NTL to put together this package so it might be worth speaking to NTL about it.

I think its a fantastic package. Go for it!

My dad has NTL (now virgin) and i have to admit i dont think its very good, it crashes alot and you dont get all the interactive services that you get with sky. They have updated it recently so maybe it will get better.

Oh yeah, i heard about them ditching channels including sky one, sky sports news and sky sports extra too
