Champagne Gold PsP?

There is to be a chamgagne gold PSP launched in Japan soon, does anyone know if it will be launched here? also if I brought one from Japan would it work with english games?

You will need to check this, but I think while the games are not region coded, the UMD films are, so you could play but not watch films (unless they are Japanese region)
