The Brits are withdrawing their forces from southern Iraq.
This has been the quite area of the country. Will we finally be able to see how the Iraqi government can handle security on their own? Do you think ceding a portion of the country back to Iraq can help or harm efforts to settle the rest of the country?

Denmark has also announced that its withdrawing by august !
I personally feel an American troop increase is not going to help the situation and we should also set a date for withdrawal. this may force insurgents to negotiate with the government and go after the real threat to security which are the terrorist made up of foreign fighters...!

Yes, in part of Southern Iraq. Basra's (Iraq's) security forces are taking over full responsibility for law enforement and security. Good news huh?
