A CFL team.

Oh no he didn't. Normally I'd give an inciteful answer but I'd thought I'd try giving the asshole answer this time around.

Ok, I've got some serious comments after reading other peoples'.

Mellisa -- Troy Smith is the QB outta OSU, not Troy BROWN the WR on the Pats.

MN does NOT need a QB. Tarvaris Jackson is the QB of the franchise and will improve, especially with the acquisition of a WR this offeseason (either trade for Fitz or draft). He was very green last year, plus had little help in the passing game (he got the ball to the WRs alot, they just couldn't hold on to it!!).

He's not projected as a franchise-saving QB in the draft (not to say scouts are always right). He's on the short side and has a long throwing delivery. Positives: Good pocket presence (except in the BCS championship bowl), decision making, and elusiveness.

He'll fit in a team with a good OL who can open up passing lines consistently. Preferably in an indoor or warm-weather city. I think a year on the bench would help him too.

I would love to see him on the Browns, but it would be a bad fit. Lots of pressure for the hometown favorite. Poor offensive line. Cold windy weather might affect his long delivery. Lousy running game. Of course, any QB would have problems in Cleveland but at least a taller QB would have less passes batted down (I hope).

By the way, I think the Browns should draft Brady Quinn. They have lots and lots of needs, but at least you could market Quinn as the franchise (try marketing a nose tackle or offensive tackle). It didn't work with Tim Couch, but at least it gives the Cleveland fans hope for the future.

I'd like to see him get a chance in his own backyard, Cleveland. I don't beleive Charlie Frye is the answer there and I think with Edwards and Winslow, he will have some nice weapons to work with. All they need to address is the running game (Jamal Lewis, Adrian Peterson?) this offseason and that offense could impress next year.

I think another team I could see him with is the Vikings. The need some better receivers because Williamson is a bust, but with Chester Taylor taking alot of pressure off in the running game, it should open things up.

Vikes have a QB... Panthers, properly Delhomme gets it mutually maximum in all risk... Browns have their franchise QB in Frye, he seems rather solid... the Bucs would be superb at QB as quickly as Simms comes returned from his injury, if he comes returned... i think of he could be superb for the Raiders. Their porous offensive line ought to rather use a QB that should get out of the pocket promptly.
