I recently lost my contract mobile, and would have cost me £70 on insurance to purchase an new one. so i picked up the alcatel OT-E801 to do me for now,
though it wont let me put music on it.
well it does but when i go to play em it says
"no valid mp3 file present"

any help will be great'

The USB conn is not Version 2 compatible so u will have to connect to the slower V1.1 if u have them.U do need SP2 on Win XP for it to recognize it.Format the Card,Make New folder call "MP3"
Down load Alcatel MP3 converter from http://www.tctmobile.com and off u jolly well go.
- you need to make a folder on your memory card called MP3 ( with MP in caps -
