I think they are both exciting in different ways. It depends on which team you support really.

Yes!
I'm a Manchester United fan and without trying to sound arsey there's really only four teams who look likely to win the Premiership, so it's not as interesting. Comes down to individual games and just trying to win over rivals. ie care more about beating Arsenal than Wigan. The main competition is more European places, but in the Championship there's a battle!
When the games are played they're playing for promotion to the next league up points are worth more to the supporters. my boyfriend supports leeds and he has been pretty depresssed this season but watching the playoffs last year was a helluva lot more exciting then half the Premiership dross

I am a Cardiff fan we havn`t been in the top flight while i supported them well we were top of the hooligan league so it`s great we may get in the play offs. The thing is everyone who likes football wants to see the top players the premiership is amazing i am sure people would rather watch Man Utd v Liverpool rather than Stoke v Hull but to all the real fans who stay loyal to a lower league club remember this we are football. Ps Cardiff fans are the best ask anyone who has been to Ninian park we chant the entire game and boy can us Welsh sing Men of Harlech......... Welsh men never yield yep we use that Zulu song as our anthem

I don't know about it being more exciting as I'm a Sheffield Wednesday fan and it can get pretty dull at Hillsborough. Your boys livened it up having said that when you played us off the park. One thing that is refreshing about the championship is the lack of histrionics and prima donna tantrums that are all too common in the Premiership. The only moment of diving/simulation/petty hambags I've seen this year against wednesday was vs Stoke. Guess who? Mr Slappable face himself, Lee Hendrie, on loan from the Premiership, got a shove and went down like a sniper had taken him from the grassy knoll.

Im a Preston fan and I agree with you. I think Sunderland will be in the Prem next year though. The Championship is always tightly contested at the top and the bottom so the last game is crucial.

I know what you're saying - the BigFour always have a stranglehold on the Prem (it's been a decade since Blackburn won it) while the Championship has been crazy! All year, the top six spots in the table have been occupied by a constantly changing cast of characters. It's always more interesting when you can't predict which squad will get hot next.

Im an Arsenal fan and even though we play good football etc i think the championship this year as a whole has been better.... You have about 6 or 7 teams who think that they can win it outright and about another 7 or 8 teams who can get in the playoffs..... That makes it a tough league and alot more to fight for.... Roy Keane has turned your club around big time.

Well as my team is likely to end up there i am sure i will find it a lot more interesting than the Prem.
Ask me again after 07/08 and i might have a different answer. Fingers crossed.
They are two different styles of football, the lower divisions being a bit more physical imo, but that in know way detracts from it´s entertainment value.
Whilst the Premier has it´s highly paid premadonnas diving for their club, it also has a lot of players who are exciting to watch. In CCC`s favour, they have battlers who can cope better with gritty football and a good physical game can be good to watch and be a good reminder of how football used to be.

the championship is much better
in the premiership if a team is 10th theres not much to play for but in the championship you can put a good run together and with a bit of luck you can be in the premiership nxt season.
