Ahh! but by emailing Tony ..those silly 1.8 million people inadvertently signed up for the New Labour Magazine Via email.
Dont sign up for Petitions on-line ... if you dont want Government Propaganda in your in-box...

Because by signing the petition and revealing ones email address one effectively gave permission for a reply. In his reply,he did state he will be contacting the person again. Should one not want another response,one could opt out by checking the box..................

Maybe because he's replying to their request to stop the extra taxes? He's not just sending random emails to them, he's responding to something they sent him, in a way, which is allowed I believe.

Email him back with your views of his policy, the fact he hasn't heeded people's wishes and ask him not to fill your inbox with propaganda in future - 1.8million emails back might fill his inbox. I know I'm going to give him a piece of my mind if attempts to tell me what my view is.
